Approve a certification and record its expiry date

Clauseloop TeamISO certification software specialistsUpdated October 6, 20262 min read

After the certification body certifies your client, an admin approves the project from Review Certification and records the certificate’s expiry date. The project is completed, the date is saved on the client, and Clauseloop plans the reminders and renewal notices from it.

How to approve a certification

  1. Open Project Management. When projects are at Cert. Ready, an admin sees Review Certification with a count.
  2. Click Review Certification, then Approve Certification on the project.
  3. Enter the Certification Expiry Date from the certificate and click Confirm.

What happens next

  • The project is marked completed.
  • The expiry date is saved on the client and appears in Expiry & Renewal.
  • The consultant is notified, and reminder tasks are added to the calendar 30, 15, 7 and 2 days before expiry.
  • The client is emailed 90, 60, 30, 7 and 1 days before the certificate expires.

Sharing the certificate

Clauseloop records the expiry date, not the certificate itself. Upload the certificate to the client’s documents to share it with them.
