How to share documents securely with a client (Document Arena)
To share documents securely with a client, open their project’s Document Arena, upload any file, and the client downloads it from their portal and can upload files back. Every file is privately stored and served through short-lived signed links.
What is Document Arena?
Document Arena is a secure, two-way space where a consultant and a single client exchange files — any type, any size — with strict per-client isolation. Nothing is public; files are served only through short-lived signed download links.
How to share a document with a client
- Open the client’s project and select the Document Arena tab.
- Upload a file — there is no file-type restriction and no size cap.
- The client sees it in their portal and downloads it securely.
- The client can upload files back to you in the same space.
- Remove a file any time; access is always limited to that one client.
Document Arena vs email / WeTransfer
| Email / WeTransfer | Document Arena | |
|---|---|---|
| Direction | One-way, per message | Two-way, persistent |
| Size limits | 25 MB / provider caps | None |
| Isolation | Manual, error-prone | Per-client, enforced |
| Access | Public / expiring links | Private + signed URLs |
Frequently asked questions
Can one client see another client’s files?
No. Isolation is enforced per client. A consultant sees only their assigned clients, and one client can never access another client’s files.
Is there a file size limit?
No. Uploads go straight to secure private storage, so there is no file-type restriction and no size cap.
